Q: Is my team guaranteed to play in the location that we signed up for?
A: No. Due to limited availability should your first choice not be available, you will be notified be via email and allowed to select an alternate location that has availability in your age category.
Q: What if I or a member of my team forgets their waiver?
A: If you are under the age of 18, you will need a parent or guardian present on the day of the tournament to sign the waiver. If you are 18 years of age you will able to fill out your waiver again on-site.
Q: Should we wear our team uniforms to the tournament?
A: You can wear your team uniforms if you like but pinnies will be provided for qualifier games.
Q: How will I find out if my team makes it to the Finals at Met Oval?
A: Only the top (2) teams from each category (i.e. Boys U15) will advance to the quarter finals, semi finals and finals at Met Oval on July 11th and will be notified at the end of the qualifier date.
Q: If my team makes it to the Finals, will transportation be provided to and from Met Oval on July 11th?
A: Yes, we will be providing a bus for those coming from Long Island, NJ and PA. Once your team advances to the finals travel will be coordinated.
Q: If my team didn’t make it to the finals, can we still attend the World Cup viewing party at Met Oval on July 11th?
A: Yes, even though your team didn’t make it you can still come and watch the viewing party.
Q: What type of footwear should I bring?
A: Be prepared to play on grass or field turf. Firm ground and flats are recommended.
Q: How do I access my team profile I created on nikesoccer.com?
A: To access a team profile that was already created on nikesoccer.com, please login to nikesoccer.com as you normally would. Once logged in, click on the NIKE CUP tab on the left. When you arrive at the landing page you will notice a “MY TEAM” button under “Create My Team – LA”. Click on this button and you will be back at your team page.
Q: How do I purchase a jersey I created through my team profile page on nikesoccer.com?
